Spotlight Series: The BC Team
Madera is excited to feature The BC Team this week in our Spotlight Series! We sat down with Nick Young, general contractor and co-owner of The BC Team to learn all about their business in Phoenix, Arizona.
The BC Team’s story starts in 2009 with the establishment of Better Choice Homes, a real estate entity. A few years later, in 2013, their contracting entity, Better Choice Builders was born. Today they have merged both entities to form one full-service real estate brokerage, property management and home building/renovation company called The BC Team.
“We started as a One-Stop-Realty-Solution and that is what we strive for,” Nick said. “We serve as a traditional Real Estate brokerage, full-service Property Management company, full service Contracting company, residential and commercial Plumbing, Accounting and Earthworks.”
Nick is a family man. He is one of seven children and he has a wife and two sons at home, so he understands how valuable time and resources are. That’s why family values are at the core of everything The BC Team does.
Offering the people of Phoenix, Arizona a one-stop-shop for all of their realty, home building, and property management needs allows The BC Team to make their clients’ lives as easy as possible. Less stress means everyone can focus on the thing that really matters at the end of the day: family.
“Both Real Estate and Construction can be overwhelming at times, so we thought let’s bring it all under one roof,” Nick said. “Now, you can remodel your home to sell, acquire a piece of land, build your dream home and acquire rentals all in the same spot.”
Another important aspect of family values is sacrifice; going above and beyond for the people that mean the most to you. That’s exactly what The BC Team promises each and every one of their clients.
“We take what we do personally and want the clients to get the most out of their investment. Sometimes it means we make a little less by fighting for the client just a little more.”
Learning, Growing, Elevating
The real estate and home construction industries are ever evolving. The BC Team makes it a point to keep up with the latest trends and innovations with weekly training sessions in the office. These sessions help every member of the team do their job to the absolute best of their ability.
As far as the company itself goes, The BC Team is growing out of Arizona! They have recently opened a second location in Michigan and are currently working on renovating the office there. The BC Team will be expanding their services into the commercial industries and asset management, as well.
The BC Team’s mission statement is “Elevate together.” We asked Nick what that meant to him, and here’s what he said:
“Elevate Together is something that stuck with us when asked the question, ‘Why do you do what you do?’ We know that our industry does not have the best reputation, so we wanted to change that. Elevate Together means that we are aware of the needs of everyone around us including our team, potential clients, past clients, sub-contractors and anyone else we come in contact with. We strive to meet their needs and expectations in what we say and do.”
If you’re interested in working with The BC Team on the realty, property management, or home construction front (or all three!) give them at call at 602-492-9242 or visit their website www.thebcteam.com.
